Rail Frontage Leasehold

Rail frontage parcels within the Darwin Business Park are both strategically located and of critical importance in maximising benefits of the AustralAsia Railway. For these reasons, rail frontage parcels will only be released as leasehold or for short term rentals.

Rail frontage land parcels will only be released to businesses that have satisfied the following criteria:

• provide evidence of the scale of rail freight forwarding and associated activities to be carried out on the property.
• identify that operations on the property will have a predominant involvement with the railway.

Clients will need to justify their requirement for direct access to the rail freight marshalling area, as well as demonstrate how their proposed operation will add value to the development of the railway and growth in trade for the Northern Territory.
